Attorney Dr. Ndonwi is trained both as a scientist and a lawyer, a skill set that very few lawyers in the world possess. He received a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from the University of Buea, Cameroon, a Ph.D. in Pharmacological and Physiological Science from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and a Doctorate in Law from Saint Louis University School of Law.
Before law school, Dr. Ndonwi was a scientist at Washington University School of Medicine, where he conducted Blood and Cancer research. He has published numerous papers in both national and international scientific journals from his scientific work.
In law school, he received several awards including the Alvin Wolff Award for Excellence in Client Counseling Competition, the Academic Excellence Award for Best Student in Client Counseling, and the Graduate Education Tuition Scholarship Award in Law. Dr. Ndonwi also represented his law school at a national and an international competition, winning 1st Place at the 2017 International Patent Drafting Competition held in Detroit, Michigan, and 2nd Place at the 2016 American Bar Association Client Counseling Regional Competition held in Saint Louis.
Before completing law school, Dr. Ndonwi was already arguing before judges in court, and has appeared before judges in the Circuit court of the City of St. Louis, the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the Wayne and Oakland County circuit courts in Michigan.
Dr. Ndonwi previously worked as an associate attorney for Dierker and Kavanaugh, PC, a highly respected intellectual property law firm in Troy, Michigan, and Johnson Law, PLC, one of the top personal injury law firms in the state of Michigan. At Johnson Law, Dr. Ndonwi was involved in cases that resulted in multimillion dollar settlements for clients.
Dr. Ndonwi’s past and present affiliations include the American Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, Detroit Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, Michigan Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, American Society of Hematology, International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Viewing himself as a son of the universe, and having traveled the world from Africa, Europe, Australia, the United States and Canada, Dr. Ndonwi commands a solid understanding of cultural diversity and stands for the proposition that everyone is equal before the law.
